An interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning
Members and Guests:
The Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of Delaware welcomes you to the 2019-2020membership year. Our Council does a great job of providing members and guests a forum to connect with other estate planning professionals who share similar goals and interests. We host national speakers, showcase prominent regional practitioners and organizations, and provide unique opportunities for members and guests to network and socialize.
We are planning an exceptional year of events focused on keeping you informed of cutting-edge estate planning developments and related topics of interest. Please also join us for our winter and summer social events held at popular local venues. Mark your calendars as dates, topics and events are listed on the Council’s website.
We will continue our goal of bringing in higher quality, nationally acclaimed speakers. We will also be sending out surveys after each meeting to get your feedback. Please let us know how we can serve you better.
Our affiliation with the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC) gives us access to many benefits and tools – including utilization of its national speakers’ bureau, access to NAEPC’s Journal of Estate & Tax Planning, as well as involvement at NAEPC’s annual conference. Browse our website for more details.
Please look for your annual membership renewal letter in late August. If you have ideas for future speakers, topics or events – or if you wish to participate on a committee – please contact us via the website. If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining, we encourage you to apply for membership to this prestigious group by using the application form on our website.
I am honored to serve as President of the Estate Planning Council of Delaware for the 2019-2020 year, and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings and events.
James W. Hayes
