An interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Dear Members and Colleagues:
The Estate Planning Council of Delaware (“EPCDE”) is an interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning. Our Council strives to foster understanding of the proper relationship between the functions of life underwriter, trust officer, attorney, accountant, financial professional, and any other party or parties involved with estate planning; and to encourage co-operation of professionals between these disciplines.
As our top priority is, and will continue to be, the health and safety of our valued members, guests, speakers, and sponsors. We will continue to monitor the external environment to provide our members and guests with a forum to connect with other estate planning professionals who share similar goals and interests.
We have planned an exceptional year of events focused on keeping you informed of cutting-edge estate planning developments and related topics of interest. Please let us know of any suggestions on how we can better serve you.
Our affiliation with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (“NAEPC”) gives us access to many benefits and tools which include utilization of its national speakers' bureau, access to NAEPC's Journal of Estate & Tax Planning, as well as involvement at NAEPC's annual conference. We encourage you to explore the educational programs and benefits offered by NAEPC and consider earning the Accredited Estate Planner (“AEP”) designation. Please browse our website for more details.
The future of our organization and its continued success depends on our members and future qualified members. If you have ideas for future speakers, topics, or events - or if you wish to participate on a committee - please contact us via the website. If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining, we encourage you to apply for membership using the application form on our website.
An additional way to connect with our membership is through the EPCDE group on LinkedIn. For those who wish to join our LinkedIn group, please either send us a request through LinkedIn or email us with your request for invitation to the group.
Please share our excitement as the Estate Planning Council of Delaware enters its 76th year in 2022-2023. We look forward to seeing you in-person at our upcoming meetings and events.
Sincerely,
Mark E. Doyle, President
